Remember the keyword research from the "Find your Niche" training. The reason that is so important is to make sure you build your site with a keyword focus. Basic SEO practice includes making sure your keyword is in the URL (ie. yourwebsite.com/keyword), within the page title, and content. Each collection should focus on a primary keyword and supplemental keywords. Later in the "More SEO" section of training we will discuss other tactics to rank for those keywords.
If you are selling a product, make sure you have professional quality photos and the style is consistent throughout the website. Another important SEO tool is making sure you create alt text for all of your media content. Simply describe the content. If you are drop-shipping, see if your supplier has a file of photos to share with you.
Focus your keyword within content and blogs. You may use them in product descriptions, but this should be short and sweet. Let the customer know what you are selling, the contents included, and specific quality enhancing details. Be original with your introduction of the product. A little wit may spark emotion which enhances the shopper experience.
Probably one of the most important features on your page is letting consumers sign up. When they sign up they are implying the interest is there.
